My. Dear. Sam.
Yours recd. I met Ingraham yesterday. Do you know I begin to beleive like your self that he is a bad egg. or that he is a forked tongue. he told me. or at least wrote me he had placed your MSS. in B.&. A. hands. Yesterday he Says B.&.A. don't want them. But that he has them ready. whether he has or not I cant
say. I have so much to do. I can't take time to see B& A for a few days. But when I do I will ask them. I have paid out so much money of late in buying cattle that I am pushed for ready funds at present. I do hope you will come out right side up yet. My companys is all made up for this season.
I will not have the time to come and see you this fall. until I play there in Dec. Give my love to Seal & family.
