The Duke and Duchess of Portland and a party of friends visited the Horticultural Exhibition yesterday afternoon, and afterwards witnessed the performance of Buffalo Bill's "Wild West." Some interest was attached to the appearance in a private box of a portion of the band of the South American Gauchos, who are to make their first appearance this afternoon.

The Cossacks engaged at the Wild West Show are to give a performance before the Queen and Court at Windsor Castle on Saturday afternoon.

Note: In 1892 the Duke and Duchess of Portland were William John Arthur Charles James Cavendish-Bentinck (1857-1943), 6th Duke of Portland, and Winifred Anna Dallas-Yorke Cavendish-Bentinck (1863-1954).
