has not withered his cowboys and Indians, nor has time added any variety to the entertainment, but Londoners and their country cousins will flock to Earls Court as of old, while, if we may judge from the distinguished company who welcomed him last Saturday, Col. Cody will again be the idol of society.

Quoting from a contemporary: "The trees and hedges of the old English enclosures are set with characteristic style, while the geometrical flower beds of others, make a fair appearance, considering the unfavourable circumstances of these bleak May days. The scenic effect produced upon the large canvas devoted to the Long Walk at Windsor is a marvellously beautiful allusion, and whatever the weather may be there will be always flecks of sunshine upon the avenue of elms."
