<p>Enclosed find a P.O. for $25.<ref target="n01">1</ref> I presume you are getting about ready to come to St. Louis. Wish you would start from home in time to arrive in St. Louis about the 2nd or <choice><sic>3th</sic><corr>3rd</corr></choice> of May. Go to the. St. James Hotel if I <choice><sic>aint</sic><corr>ain't</corr></choice> there to meet you. I will be there any how by the <choice><sic>3th</sic><corr>3rd</corr></choice>.<ref target="n02">2</ref> I have got you the white horse. and a fine saddle. Suppose you have your habit.<ref target="n03">3</ref></p>
