<p>The Directors<ref target="n02">2</ref> want to know why construction for Aug was so much and no construction done&#8212; You should get expenses down out there. it <choice><sic>wont</sic><corr>won't</corr></choice> do. you must have a number of people on salary doing nothing. And the rest soldiering on the company. The directors ask me why the expenses are so high. I <choice><sic>cant</sic><corr>can't</corr></choice> answer them.</p>

<p>Will do all I can to get Jones<ref target="n03">3</ref> out there with men who will buy&#8212;</p>

<p>Hope the placer<ref target="n04">4</ref> will be a success&#8212; I am worn out took 24 hours to get here Two weeks now of long runs. I will be glad to get out there&#8212;</p>
