Note 1: Buffalo Bill's Wild West performed in Walla Walla, Washington, on August 21, 1902. [back]
Note 2: Cody refers to his Irma Hotel, then under construction in the town of Cody, Wyoming. "Mr. Martin" is most likely John Henry Martin (d. 1910), a former Indianapolis railroad agent who was then Buffalo Bill's local representative and business manager. [back]
Note 3: "Harry Stevens" was actually Henry A. Stephens, an owner of the Stephens Bros. construction firm, then located at 2418 N Street in Lincoln, Nebraska. On August 16, 1902, the Lincoln Trade Review reported that Stephens Bros. was the general contractor for William F. Cody's Irma Hotel in Cody, Wyoming. [back]
