Buffalo Bill's Wild West

My Dear Bick.

[2]

As the time grows near for My going to the Basin— I feel like letting you know that I hope we may meet as friends. I admit that at times I have felt hurt at the annoyances of our troubles there. But I know that you have had a hard time to do with nothing As our stock holders have fallen down entirely. And you and I have had to stand the brunt. And I expect we will still have to do it. As Bleistein writes me that the Buffalo parties [3] wish to sell out I am perfectly willing that they should. I donot know how you have   fixed it with the saw mill men and Darrow— And would like to know if I could before I come out.

I will be at North Platte [4] the 19th to 24th [5]

Your truly

W. F. Cody

P.S.
I hope we can have a nice time this winter if we dont make a cent— we generaly have a good time when we get together— lets go up South fork to its head & have a hunt—

General Miles [6] will be out with me if he can get away—

Bill
