More metadataA Baseball Match at the Wild West.—In the arena of Buffalo Bill's "Wild West," on June 29, for a couple of hours, some members of the London Thespian Baseball Club, consisting of nine American actors and music-hall artists now performing in London, played against an equal number of the members of Buffalo Bill's Baseball Club. There were seven innings on each side, in which the Thespians scored a total of five, while the "Wild West" players made no less than thirteen. The game was witnessed by Colonel Cody, Mr. Nate Salsbury, Major Burke and others.
